As a drinker, Ella lived a loud life in which she offended others with her political views, felt shame and regret after one night stands, broke mirrors, and more. She drank to alleviate the stress she felt as a secondary school French teacher. Ella describes herself as a boozehound, a big drinker, the life and soul of the party.
